SHRIMP BOOTS
PODCAST
Real conversations from the field. Unfiltered stories of disaster relief, community, and what it means to show up.
BRIAN TRASCHER
Vice President — United Cajun Navy
Brian Trascher is the Vice President of the United Cajun Navy and one of the driving forces behind Cajun Hands — the UCN's ground volunteer force. When boats get people out, it's Cajun Hands volunteers who go back in: mucking out homes, clearing debris, and doing the hard physical work of recovery on the ground.
With shrimp boots perpetually caked in mud, Brian brings a no-nonsense, front-line perspective to every conversation. His leadership style is simple: show up, do the work, and bring your neighbors with you.
On the Shrimp Boots Podcast, Brian tells the stories of the United Cajun Navy's ground volunteers — the men and women of Cajun Hands who stay on the ground long after the cameras leave, doing the work that rebuilds communities from the mud up.
